It was beautiful!

We visited Durban for 2 days, then rented a car and drove 2 hrs to the reserve where we spent five days on a primitive safari. What does that means ...YOU KEEP WATCH AT NIGHT TO KEEP THE HYENAS AWAY! and the elephants from stomping your sleeping bag.

Sleeping accommodations were only in leeping bags on rocks. Our safari guides cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for us once we gathered the firewood.

After the safari we drove back to Durban then flew to Capetown.
The coast of South Africa will take your breath away, it is stunning!!! Capetown is definitely bustling and has a tons to do.

We went on a wine tour (there is a huge wine country), dived with great white sharks, saw African penguins and went to the top of table mountain. The food was very good and inexpensive! Are you up for game meats? We were and tasted a variety of meats. Indian cuisine is very popular and very good.

I am definitely going back!!

I had a Premium room, that's the one with the TOWEL SHAPED GEESE. The Jacuzzi is from a Honeymoon Suite. I inspected all the rooms, very nice and spacious. Speaking of Honeymoon Suite, there were hundreds of weddings taking place. This is a true Destination Wedding Resort. There is something to do for everyone. Disco, casino and live shows every single night.

Dining takes on a whole new meaning at Sunscape The Beach Punta Cana with several types of specialty restaurants and BARS to select from. Selections of casual snacks, refreshing drinks and cocktails are also served poolside and beachside. 24hr Room Service, yup!

Suncape The Beach Punta Cana features one of the most exclusive Spas in the Dominican Republic. The Spa boasts 10 massage rooms, outdoor massage palapas, exotic body treatments and therapies.

Kids have their own exciting activities at the Explorer's Club for kids. It is fully supervised children’s program for 3-12 year olds that will entertain and capture their attention with a different program each day based on science, nature and exploration. Activities include sandcastle competitions, ocean trampoline, arts & crafts, game room, a huge playground, Euro-bungee, pirate's ship waterslide, big screen movies on the beach and our weekly campout adventure!

We'll be back very soon. Don't forget to have the "maduros" aka sweet plantains. LOL

I recently visited Belize in April 2007. This is a great destination for divers, adventureous travellers, jungle lovers, weddings, honeymoons, eco-admirers, families, singles, couples, etc. The tourism is changing in this region and there is much to look forward to.

I had the pleasure to visit a new resort one evening, and it was very different from my normal trips. For one, the resort only has 32 rooms! Its very casual, intimidate and peaceful.
